Welcome to the Greensboro Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). Our branch, steadfast in its commitment to justice, equality, and opportunity, proudly serves the community of Greensboro, North Carolina.

The Greensboro NAACP Branch is a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change. We are dedicated to improving the political, educational, social, and economic status of minority groups; eliminating racial prejudice; keeping the public aware of adverse effects of racial discrimination; and taking lawful action to secure the elimination of racial discrimination.

Our Engagement:

We actively engage with our community through a variety of channels, including hosting impactful events, conducting direct actions, and developing political education programs. We focus on issues impacting the Black residents of Greensboro, striving to uplift voices that need to be heard and enact meaningful change.

Our Future:

As we look ahead, our focus areas for 2023 are public education, economic justice, and the promotion of Black arts and joy. We believe in a future where all Americans can access quality education, where economic justice prevails, and where Black arts and joy are celebrated as part of our nation’s rich cultural tapestry.
